Présentation

Mes activités de recherche concernent l’écologie spatiale et la conservation de la mégafaune marine. Je m’attache à étudier les dynamiques de distribution, habitats et mouvements des mammifères marins sous l’influence de forçages environnementaux et anthropiques afin de permettre leur gestion durable. Mes recherches s’appuient donc sur une approche transdisciplinaire combinant observations biologiques, mesures océanographiques, science participative et modélisation. Elles reposent sur un socle de méthodes d’analyses quantitatives variées, de modèles statistiques non linéaires et de machine learning. Ces recherches sont appliquées à la conservation des espèces emblématiques de la mégafaune marine. Elles ont pour but de fournir les informations nécessaires à la mise en place de mesures de gestion, entre autres d’aires marines protégées en milieu côtier ou pélagique.
