We are seeking a motivated candidate for a Ph.D. position. The selected candidate will join the ENTROPIE laboratory at the Institute of Research for Development (IRD) under the supervision of Drs Mohsen Kayal and Fanny Houlbreque. Selected candidates will be invited to an interview by Zoom. The start of the PhD is scheduled for February 2023.

Compilation of a global underwater sonar database and 20 ocean climate projections to predict the future distribution of sound-scattering fauna around the world’s oceans and showing that global pelagic fauna will be seriously compromised by the end of the twenty-first century if we continue under the current greenhouse emission scenario.

Deux bouées connectées (Bourake Control et Bourake Front) financées par la fondation Aqualink ont été déployée dans la baie de Bouraké en Nouvelle-Calédonie au mois de juillet 2022. Elles permettent de connaître la température de surface de l'eau et du fond de lagon en temps réel grâce à une liaison satellite.
