STUDYING THE ACCLIMATION OF CORALS TO OCEAN ACIDIFICATION

The CARiOCA project proposes to study a site in Papua New Guinea, characterized by seawater chemical conditions equivalent to those projected by the end of this century, in order to identify the genotypic and phenotypic traits that allow certain coral species to survive and reproduce in waters naturally enriched in CO2.
